Anonymous asked: so in band we do these breathing exercises at the start of rehearsal, like breathing in for a certain amount of beats and then breathing out for a certain time etc and sometimes the lecturer who runs it will be talking about how that can calm us down but then sometimes he'll be talking about how to slow your heart rate and ahhh that is not the way to get me to calm down!!
